Correspondence, lists of officers and members, president's, treasure's and executive committee's reports, constitution and by-laws of this group designed to preserve and promote Classical culture, with much emphasis on providing Latin in public school cirriculum. Also ballots and mailing lists pamphlets and newsclippings on membership, meetings, essay contests and Latin tournaments, and issues of the association's quarterly organ, The news letter, 1939-53. Correspondents include Mariann West, editor of The news letter, Gertrude Malz, Virginia representative to the Classical Association of the Middle Westland South, Mary J. Pearle, of Sweet Briar College, and many other heads of Classics departments, and Latin teachers in Virginia colleges, colleges and public schools, especially Arthur F. Stocker of U. Va.
